It was hugely exciting to shoot at the Emirates Stadium for the first leg UEFA clash between Arsenal and Barcelona this week. Lots of exciting action and two goals from Messi, the first one set up brilliantly by Suarez and Neymar.
Football is one of the most difficult sports to capture as most matches are played in the evening with low light with the addition of harsh flood lighting. Also, shooting team sports is always challenging as it’s easy to miss a good shot by focusing in on individual players too much instead of keeping an eye on the wider game play. This isn’t always as easy as it sounds when you’re looking down a 400mm F2.8 lens!
