I am half British and half German and grew up in Hamburg, Germany. After graduating from university in Edinburgh, Scotland, I worked for two multi-national organisations in Australia and Singapore for several years. However, I left the corporate world behind in 2004 to fulfill a life long ambition of setting up my own freelance photography business.
I am now based in London after having worked as a freelance photographer out of Asia for 6 years. I still take on assignments overseas, most recently in Russia, South East Asia, the Middle East, and Central America.
I have a wide range of experience and expertise in travel, corporate, events, portraits, and sports photography. My travel assignments take me to many places around the world, capturing the landscapes, culture, and people of remote locations. Work for corporate clients includes creating high-quality photographic images for promotional material and marketing tools. I also very much enjoy working with people, and my genuine interest in each individual person and their environment, achievements, or situation is clearly evidenced by my body of work. This quality is always apparent, from the intimacy of individual portraits to the insightful documentation of large-scale events such as award ceremonies, highlights of the cultural calendar, or sporting fixtures.
I will offer my creative input to you as a client at all times. In addition, my people-oriented and international outlook coupled with the diverse photographic opportunities and challenges I have had over the years means that, I can easily tailor my work to your specific needs, if required.
My work has featured in national and international magazines, books, and newspapers. Selected images are published and sold through Hoch Zwei and Getty Images.
